Arena was founded in 1973 by Horst Dassler, the son of one of the founders of Adidas, after he saw Olympian Mark Spitz compete in Munich. He dreamed of creating a new brand of swimwear designed for swimmers to meet their needs and maximize their performance.

Since the beginning of that great journey, Arena has become a favorite brand of Canadian competitive swimmers.

Our instinct and love for the brand is a family affair and came about when our Director of Sales & Marketing’s wife, a former national swimmer who also works at our company, saw the potential of re-introducing the brand to the market. Their daughters, competitive swimmers as well, have also been instrumental to Arena’s success and to convincing Arena to grant us distribution rights.

Together, we’ve been beating records ever since!
