En 1994, lorsque nous nous sommes int\u00e9ress\u00e9s \u00e0 elle, Vans \u00e9tait quasi inconnue en Am\u00e9rique du Nord. Certains en avaient \u00e9videmment d\u00e9j\u00e0 entendu parler et connaissaient son embl\u00e9matique espadrille \u00ab\u00a0slip-on\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 motif de damier, mais Vans n\u2019exploitait pas son plein potentiel et nous avions l\u2019intuition qu\u2019elle pouvait devenir tellement plus. \u00c0 une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 l\u2019attitude rebelle des skateurs et skateuses \u00e0 l\u2019esprit libre s\u2019imposait, cette marque arrivait avec une offre qui r\u00e9pondait \u00e0 une demande inexploit\u00e9e jusque-l\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons donc communiqu\u00e9 avec Vans et avons demand\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quipe de nous laisser s\u2019occuper d\u2019elle au Canada, en lui promettant qu\u2019elle ne le regretterait pas.\u00a0 C\u2019est en instaurant la confiance que nos partenariats les plus marquants ont pris racine. Nous nous fions beaucoup \u00e0 notre petite voix int\u00e9rieure pour nous guider dans le choix des marques avec lesquelles nous travaillons. Nous devons \u00e9videmment \u00eatre convaincus du potentiel de la marque dans le march\u00e9, mais nous devons \u00e9galement sentir que nos partenaires nous font confiance pour les emmener l\u00e0 o\u00f9 ils le souhaitent et favoriser leur croissance.<\/p>\n<p>Mais pour y parvenir, vous devez conna\u00eetre la marque mieux que quiconque et croire en son potentiel plus que quiconque. Il n\u2019y a pas de meilleure mani\u00e8re d\u2019y parvenir. Pour amener votre marque \u00e0 se d\u00e9passer et aller au-del\u00e0 des outils et services propos\u00e9s par les distributeurs, vous devez trouver l\u2019\u00e9quipe qui croira profond\u00e9ment en elle. C\u2019est ce qui change tout; Momentum, \u00e7a change tout!<\/p>\n<p>Mais la confiance ne suffit pas. Notre parcours, et notamment la rigueur et la discipline que nous appliquons pour d\u00e9velopper et promouvoir les marques font aussi partie de l\u2019\u00e9quation. Nous aimons nous amuser et nous sommes anim\u00e9s d\u2019une attitude audacieuse, mais c\u2019est notre fa\u00e7on m\u00e9thodique de travailler, notre organisation et notre souci du d\u00e9tail qui contribuent \u00e0 l\u2019atteinte de nos objectifs.<\/p>\n<p>Nos r\u00e9sultats parlent d\u2019eux-m\u00eames. Durant la p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 le distributeur de Vans, la marque est devenue l\u2019une des plus grandes et des plus dynamiques au Canada, pas seulement pour ses chaussures, mais aussi pour ses v\u00eatements, ses manteaux, ses bottes de planche \u00e0 neige et ses accessoires qui ont pris d\u2019assaut le march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Vous vous demandez peut-\u00eatre pourquoi ce r\u00e9cit est pertinent aujourd\u2019hui.\u00a0 Tout simplement parce que le commerce de d\u00e9tail a atteint un nouveau tournant d\u00e9cisif. Avec le commerce en ligne, de plus en plus de choix s\u2019offrent aux clients. Certaines personnes ont m\u00eame remis en question le mod\u00e8le de distribution que nous utilisons et qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 si efficace aupr\u00e8s de marques comme Vans.
